(Select AI Assistant) (2-Step Creation Flow)

1. Navigating Modules & Projects

Step 1: Select a Module

From the main Modules dashboard (/module), you will see all active, domain-specific solutions configured for your organization. These portals are tailored for different business lines:

  • General Analysis: A sandbox for general document parsing and data extraction.
  • Insurance & Claims: For managing claims, policy guidelines, and billing disputes.
  • Shipping & Logistics: For container manifest tracking and delivery routing.
  • Credit Union & Finance: For loan application and audit workflows.

To enter your vertical workspace:

  • Review the module cards, locate your designated business vertical (e.g., General Analysis), and click Access Module → to enter the portal.
Module Creation & Customization

While standard users can access and work within assigned modules, only the Super Admin has permissions to create, edit, or configure modules and vertical portals. Administrators can define custom names, descriptions, and workflow integrations from the global settings panel.

Step 2: Project Overview & Creation

Inside the module, you enter the Project Overview screen. This acts as the command center for all work workspaces belonging to that vertical.

  • View Existing Projects: Browse the project list table. Each project displays critical metadata:
    • Project Name: The unique project identifier (e.g., Standard-Project-A1, Finance-Audit-2026, Operational-Review).
    • Access Type: Indicates whether a project is Private (visible only to you) or Shared (collaborators can access).
    • Document Count: The total number of files indexed in the project's knowledge base.
    • Owner & Creation Date: Tracks who initiated the workspace and when.
  • Create a New Project: Click the + Create button in the top-right corner to open the creation dialog. Enter a descriptive project title and details, and click Save.
  • Open a Project: Click on any project identifier from the list (e.g., Standard-Project-A1) to enter its dedicated workspace.

2. Ingesting Documents & Reviewing OCR Status

Inside a project's workspace, the primary data source is the Documents tab. Click it in the left sidebar navigation to manage files.

Uploading Files & Creating Folders

To organize contracts, reports, manuals, or spreadsheets:

  • Create Folders: Click Create Folder in the top-right toolbar. Use naming conventions (e.g., 01_Source_Documents, 02_Processed_Reports) to keep file layouts structured.
  • Upload Files: Click the Upload Files ▾ button to import documents (e.g., PDF reports, spreadsheets, scanned images). Supported formats include PDF (.pdf), Word (.doc, .docx), Excel (.xlsx), and image files (PNG, JPG, TIFF).

Tracking & Reviewing OCR Processing

Once uploaded, files are processed through StreamSpace’s backend Optical Character Recognition (OCR) engine to make content searchable and machine-readable.

[Uploading] 🔵 ───> [Processing / OCR] 🟣 ───> [Completed] 🟢
  • Document Table: Review files with details including Name (e.g., Standard-Document-Sample.pdf), File Size (e.g., 8.52 MB), Source (uploader role), Format (e.g., FILE), and Update Timestamp.
  • Document Viewer & Split View: Click on any document row to open the full document inspection viewer. This splits the screen: the document canvas is displayed in the center with zoom/navigation controls, while the AI Analysis panel is on the right.
  • Status Filter: Check processing status per page or per document using the status filter dropdown:
    • 🟢 Success: Parsing complete; all text and metadata are indexed.
    • 🟡 Waiting / In-Progress: Background parsing or OCR worker is running.
    • 🟠 Partial Success: Certain pages or tables parsed successfully, but others failed.
    • 🔴 Failed / Cancelled: File structure is unreadable or extraction failed.
  • Tags & Metadata: Inspect automated document tags (e.g., #FINANCIAL_STATEMENT, #PROJECT_PLAN, #CONTRACT_AGREEMENT, #REPORT) in the right pane.
  • Regenerate OCR & Edit: If layout parsing or text extraction is incomplete due to poor scan quality, click the actions panel in the bottom-right and select Regenerate OCR. You can also manually click Edit to modify extracted fields or text details.

3. Conversational Intelligence (AI Assistant)

Interact with your project documents in natural language using specialized AI agents:

Step 1: Start a New Conversation

  • In the left sidebar navigation, locate the Conversation section and click the + icon.
  • Select Chat Visibility: You can choose between:
    • Private Chat: The conversation is only visible to you (for personal analysis).
    • Public Chat: The conversation is accessible to all team members in the project workspace (for sharing insights).

Step 2: Select Intelligence

The Select Intelligence window opens, presenting a grid of specialized AI Assistants:

  • Deep Research: Performs in-depth research across enterprise databases and trusted web sources to compile cross-referenced answers.
  • AI Assistant: General-purpose conversational assistant for quick question-answering and document explorations.
  • Domain Copilots / Specialized Assistants: Tailored specifically for domain-specific workflows (e.g., billing rules, policy clauses, or technical logs).

Select the assistant that matches your task.

Assistant Configuration

These specialized AI Assistants are configured from Settings exclusively by the Super Admin, who maps them to this specific module.

Step 3: Interacting with the ChatBot

  • Type your question in the text input bar (e.g., "Summarize the key deliverables and deadlines from the project plan.").
  • The assistant reads the case documents, synthesizes a response, and provides exact source citations (e.g., [Project_Charter], [Budget_Sheets], or [Page: 1]).
  • Interactive Navigation: Click a citation number or token (e.g. [page=1]). The Document Viewer will automatically load the source document and jump to the exact page, section, or line reference where the answer was sourced.

4. Generating AI Reports (Agent Flows)

Generate dynamic, structured reports across one or multiple case files using automated AI workflows:

Step 1: Open AI Reports

  • Click AI Reports in the left project navigation sidebar.
  • The listing page displays previously generated reports with metadata, including type, author, creation timestamp, and a quick-action menu (⋮).

Step 2: Create a New Report

  • Click the + Create button in the top-right corner.
  • The Report Templates gallery opens, displaying preconfigured templates:
    • Document Summary: Summarizes document facts, milestones, and dates.
    • Q&A Report: Extracts answers to a list of pre-configured audit questions.
    • Financial Analysis: Details balances, expenditures, and cost trends.
    • Interactive HTML Report: Compiles analysis into an interactive browser dashboard.
    • Milestone Timeline: Maps project events to a chronological timeline grid.

Select your target report card.
